Shipping Coverage
ugyard specializes in cross-border shipping between Uganda and Dubai. We handle the complexities of international logistics so you don't have to. Whether you're ordering from Uganda to receive products from Dubai, or selling from one market to customers in the other, our shipping infrastructure makes it seamless.
Uganda Market
We ship to all major cities and regions across Uganda including Kampala, Entebbe, Jinja, Mbarara, Gulu, and more. Local delivery options available for major urban areas.
Dubai/UAE Market
Full coverage across Dubai and the United Arab Emirates, with options for express delivery within Dubai and standard shipping to other Emirates.
Cross-Border Shipping
Our core strength is facilitating trade between Uganda and Dubai. We handle customs documentation, duty calculations, and compliance requirements to ensure smooth cross-border delivery.
Shipping Methods and Delivery Times
We offer multiple shipping options to meet your needs. Delivery times are estimates and begin after your order has been processed and shipped (not from the order date).
Standard Shipping

- Processing Time: 1-2 business days
- Total Time: 6-9 business days from order placement
- Cost: Starting at $5.99 (calculated at checkout)
Standard shipping is our most economical option and is ideal for orders that aren't time-sensitive.
Expedited Shipping
- Delivery Time: 2-3 business days
- Processing Time: 1 business day
- Total Time: 3-4 business days from order placement
- Cost: Starting at $12.99 (calculated at checkout)
Expedited shipping offers a faster delivery option when you need your order sooner.
Express Shipping
- Delivery Time: 1-2 business days
- Processing Time: 1 business day (priority processing)
- Total Time: 2-3 business days from order placement
- Cost: Starting at $24.99 (calculated at checkout)
Express shipping is our fastest option for urgent deliveries. Orders placed before 2:00 PM EST on business days receive same-day processing.
Processing Time
Processing time is the period between when you place your order and when it ships from our facility. During processing, we verify payment, prepare your items, and package them securely.
- Standard Orders: 1-2 business days
- Express Orders: 1 business day (priority processing)
- Large or Custom Orders: May require additional time
You'll receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information as soon as your order leaves our facility.
Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated based on several factors:
- Delivery address and distance from our shipping facility

- Selected shipping method
- Any active promotions or discounts
The exact shipping cost for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout before you complete your purchase. There are no hidden fees.
Free Shipping Promotions
We occasionally offer free shipping promotions. When available, free shipping typically applies to:
- Orders over a specified minimum purchase amount
- Standard shipping method only (unless otherwise specified)
- Domestic addresses within the continental United States

Every shipped order includes tracking information so you can monitor your package's journey to your doorstep.
How to Track Your Order
- Check your email for the shipping confirmation message
- Click the tracking link provided in the email
- View real-time updates on your package location and estimated delivery
You can also log into your account on our website to view tracking information for all your orders in one place.
When Does Tracking Update?
Tracking information is generated when we create your shipping label, but the first scan by the carrier typically occurs within 24 hours of shipment. If your tracking shows "Label Created" but no movement, this is normal—updates will appear once the carrier scans the package at their facility.
Delivery
Signature Requirements
Most packages are delivered without requiring a signature. However, some high-value orders or items may require signature confirmation for security. If a signature is required, the carrier will make delivery attempts according to their policy, and you may be able to arrange pickup at a carrier location if delivery isn't possible.
Delivery Attempts
If delivery is attempted but no one is available to receive the package:
- The carrier will leave a notice with instructions
- They will typically make 2-3 delivery attempts
- You may be able to schedule a redelivery or pickup
- Packages may be returned to us if all delivery attempts fail
If your package is returned to us due to failed delivery attempts, please contact us to arrange reshipment. Additional shipping charges may apply.
Safe Delivery Locations
We recommend providing delivery instructions at checkout if you have preferences about where packages should be left (such as a covered porch or with a building concierge). While we pass these instructions to carriers, we cannot guarantee they will be followed.
Shipping to Special Addresses
P.O. Boxes
We can ship to P.O. Boxes using USPS shipping methods. However, some larger items or certain shipping methods (like expedited services) may not be available for P.O. Box addresses.
Military Addresses (APO/FPO/DPO)
We proudly ship to U.S. military addresses overseas. Delivery times may be longer than domestic shipments, and some products may have shipping restrictions. Please allow 2-4 weeks for delivery to military addresses.
Business Addresses
Shipping to business addresses is no problem. Please include your company name and any specific delivery instructions (such as receiving department or floor number) to help ensure smooth delivery.
International Shipping
International shipping is available to select countries with the following considerations:

International delivery times vary by destination, typically ranging from 7-21 business days. Customs clearance can add additional time beyond our control.
Customs and Duties
International orders may be subject to:
- Customs duties and import taxes imposed by the destination country
- Customs clearance processing and potential delays
- Additional fees charged by customs brokers or carriers
These charges are the responsibility of the recipient and are not included in your order total or shipping cost. UGyard has no control over these fees or when they are assessed. We recommend checking with your country's customs office for estimated duties before placing an international order.
Restricted Items
Certain products cannot be shipped internationally due to customs regulations, shipping restrictions, or manufacturer limitations. International shipping availability is indicated on each product page.
Shipping Delays and Issues
Delayed Shipments
While we strive to meet our estimated delivery times, delays can occasionally occur due to:
- Weather conditions or natural disasters
- Carrier delays or operational issues
- High volume periods (holidays, sales events)
- Customs processing (for international orders)
- Address errors or delivery access issues
If your order is significantly delayed beyond the estimated delivery window, please contact us and we'll work with the carrier to resolve the issue.
Lost or Damaged Packages
If your package shows as delivered but you haven't received it:
- Check with neighbors and household members
- Look around your property, including less obvious locations
- Contact your building management if applicable
- Wait 24 hours (packages are sometimes marked delivered prematurely)
- Contact us if the package doesn't appear within 24 hours
For packages damaged during shipping, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the damage. We'll arrange for a replacement or refund at no cost to you.
Multiple Items and Split Shipments
Orders containing multiple items may ship in separate packages if:
- Items are located in different warehouses
- Some items require special handling or shipping methods
- It allows us to get items to you faster
You'll receive tracking information for each package. There's no additional charge for split shipments—you only pay one shipping fee per order, regardless of how many packages are sent.
Address Accuracy
Please double-check your shipping address before completing your order. We use the address exactly as you provide it. If an order is returned to us due to an incorrect address you provided, the following may apply:
- Original shipping charges are non-refundable
- Return shipping fees will be deducted from your refund
- Reshipping to the correct address requires a new shipping fee
If you notice an error in your shipping address immediately after placing an order, contact us right away. We may be able to correct it before the package ships.
Holiday and Peak Season Shipping
During holidays and peak shopping seasons (such as Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and the December holiday season):
- Processing and delivery times may be longer than usual
- We recommend ordering earlier to ensure timely delivery
- Specific holiday shipping deadlines will be posted on our website
- Carrier services may be limited on or around holidays
We'll communicate any extended processing times or shipping cutoff dates on our website and via email to help you plan accordingly.
