Return Policy
Effective Date: February 1, 2026At ugyard, your satisfaction is our priority. We stand behind the quality of our products and want you to be completely happy with your purchase. If for any reason you're not satisfied, our return policy is designed to make the process simple and fair.
Return Window
You may return most items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund or exchange. The return window begins on the date you receive your order, as confirmed by the carrier's delivery record. We recommend initiating your return as soon as possible within this timeframe to ensure smooth processing.
Eligibility for Returns
To be eligible for a return, items must meet the following conditions:
- Items must be unused, unworn, and in the same condition as received
- Items must be in their original packaging with all tags, labels, and accessories intact
- Items must not show signs of wear, damage, or alteration
- Proof of purchase (order number or receipt) must be provided
Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned unless they are defective or damaged upon arrival:
- Perishable goods (food, flowers, etc.)
- Personal care and hygiene products
- Hazardous materials or flammable liquids
- Gift cards or downloadable software
- Custom-made or personalized items
- Items marked as "Final Sale" or "Non-Returnable" at the time of purchase
How to Initiate a Return
Starting a return is easy. Follow these steps:
Step 1: Contact Us
Reach out to our customer service team through our contact page or via email. Provide your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for the return. Our team will respond within 24-48 hours with instructions.
Step 2: Receive Return Authorization
Once your return request is approved, you'll receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and return shipping instructions. Do not send items back without an RMA number, as we cannot guarantee processing of unauthorized returns.
Step 3: Package Your Return
Carefully pack the item(s) in their original packaging if possible. Include all accessories, manuals, and documentation that came with the product. Place the RMA number clearly on the outside of the package.
Step 4: Ship Your Return
Ship the item(s) to the address provided in your RMA instructions. We recommend using a trackable shipping method and purchasing shipping insurance for valuable items. Keep your shipping receipt as proof of return.
Return Shipping Costs
Return shipping costs depend on the reason for the return:
- Defective or Damaged Items: We provide a prepaid shipping label at no cost to you
- Wrong Item Sent: We provide a prepaid shipping label and apologize for the error
- Change of Mind: Customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless otherwise stated in a promotion
Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error or a defective product.
Refund Processing
Once we receive and inspect your returned item(s), we will process your refund according to the following timeline:
- Inspection: 2-3 business days upon receipt
- Refund Initiation: Immediately upon approval
- Refund Appearance: 5-10 business days depending on your payment method and financial institution
You will receive an email notification when your refund has been processed. Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.
Exchanges
If you'd like to exchange an item for a different size, color, or variant, please follow the return process outlined above and place a new order for the desired item. This ensures you receive your replacement quickly without waiting for the return to be processed.
If you received a defective or incorrect item and need a replacement, contact us immediately. We'll expedite a replacement at no additional cost to you.
Damaged or Defective Items
We take great care in packaging and shipping orders, but occasionally damage can occur during transit. If you receive a damaged or defective item:
- Contact us within 7 days of delivery
- Provide photos of the damage and packaging
- Include your order number and item description
We will arrange for a replacement or full refund, including original shipping costs. You will not be charged for return shipping of damaged or defective items.
Wrong Item Received
If we sent you the wrong item, we sincerely apologize. Please contact us immediately with your order number and details about what you received versus what you ordered. We will:
- Provide a prepaid return label for the incorrect item
- Ship the correct item to you at no additional charge
- Expedite processing to minimize inconvenience
Refused or Undeliverable Packages
If a package is refused at delivery or returned to us as undeliverable due to an incorrect address provided by the customer, the following applies:
- Original shipping charges are non-refundable
- Return shipping fees charged by the carrier will be deducted from any refund
- A restocking fee may apply
Please ensure your shipping address is accurate when placing orders.
Late or Missing Returns
If you've sent a return but haven't received a refund confirmation within the expected timeframe:
- Check your email (including spam folder) for our return receipt notification
- Verify your return tracking shows delivery to our facility
- Contact us with your RMA number and return tracking information
We will investigate immediately and resolve any issues with your return.
Partial Returns
If your order contains multiple items and you wish to return only some of them, that's perfectly fine. Simply indicate which items you're returning when initiating the return process. Your refund will be calculated based on the returned items only.
International Returns
For orders shipped internationally, please note:
- Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is defective or incorrect
- Customs fees and import duties are non-refundable
- Processing times may be longer due to international shipping and customs clearance
Restocking Fees
Most returns are processed without restocking fees. However, a restocking fee may apply in the following situations:
- Items returned without original packaging or in damaged condition
- Large or heavy items requiring special handling
- Items specifically noted on the product page as subject to restocking fees
Any applicable restocking fees will be clearly communicated before you complete your return.
